Getting started with Expressions

Phrasing is built around Expressions. You add & extract Expressions, and we create a custom learning experience from your Expressions.

That means to get started, we need to create some Expressions. There are two ways to get set up, either via the Onboarding Flow, or manually via Sterling.

Getting set up with the Onboarding Flow

When you log into Phrasing, you'll see an option to get set up in Phrasing. This will help you:

1. Set up your languages in Phrasing

2. See examples of what Expressions can do

3. Get access to some free, basic Expressions

4. Come up with some custom Expressions for you to learn

Getting set up manually with Sterling

If you want to skip the onboarding process, you can create Expressions directly with Sterling. For more information, check out our Creating & importing page.
